77th Annual Johnson County Peach Festival (Clarksville)
This festival has peaches, homemade crafts, a terrapin race, a bicycle obstacle course, a peach pit spitting contest, a peach eating contest, a fishing derby, a parade, a horseshoe pitching tournament and more. Plus, fresh Arkansas peaches are the best!

Firefly Fling (Fayetteville)
One of Northwest Arkansas’ most anticipated midsummer events returns. The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks will transform into a magical world of imagination for the 2018 Firefly Fling. Local groups will have fun activities for children and adults including fairy house building, giant bubbles, nature stations and more. The garden will come alive with live music and after dark, there will be glowing games and fire dancing.

Inspect An Insect Weekend (Little Rock)
Ninety-five percent of all living creatures are insects! Spend the weekend learning about the different types of insects in the park and have a chance to eat one! Contact the park for a detailed program schedule.

Youth Home’s 8th Annual Casino Night & Texas Hold’em Tournament
This legendary evening of games, food, and prizes will be a blast as players try to beat the house, break the bank and win big! The casino features Craps, Roulette, Blackjack, slot machines and more, all staffed by an experienced and knowledgeable dealer. When players are ready to cash out, they can trade their chips for raffle tickets and enter to win any of the dozens of fantastic prizes. Card players from all over Central Arkansas can try their luck in our Texas Hold’em Tournament and compete for thousands of dollars in prizes. Gameplay is fierce and pretournament add-ons and early round rebuys are available to keep the good times going.

Junior Fishing Derby (Star City)
Parents can spend the morning relaxing while watching their junior anglers compete for the biggest stringer in this informal fishing derby. Bring your pole, bait, and fishing skills to the visitor center and they will lead the way to the special derby pond! Prizes will be awarded. This activity is for children 15 and under.

Harry Potter Month: Wand Making (Texarkana)
July is Harry Potter Month! The Ace of Clubs and the Texarkana Museums System will be creating (and learning about) wands. A quick trip along the lawn of a historic home and you’ll have your base for your wand. Decorations and your own special touches will make your wand your own creation. Lye Soap Workshop (Scott)

99th Annual Fulton County Fair And Livestock Show (Salem)

Art Camp I (Pine Bluff)
Art Camp I combines lessons in drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture with an exploration of current ASC art exhibitions. Students will create 2D and 3D projects and focus not only on artistic methods and work with different media but also on the creative process itself.
