Read More about this safari issue.I got hooked on blowout bars before my very first blog conference when my girls and I hit up Dry Bar in Atlanta pre-conference. My hair lasted for the entire weekend! It was a magical experience.
If you have never heard of a blowout bar, it’s basically a hair salon that doesn’t do cuts or color – just shampoos and styles. And now you think I’m silly for getting someone to shampoo and style my hair . . . but I’m telling you right now that blowouts are glorious. Not having to get up early and fix my hair every morning knocks a good half hour off my time and I get to sleep in. I call that a win-win in my book!
Ever since I got back to central Arkansas I have been looking for a place to get an amazing blowout. I have tried a few places and found a few local favorites and today I am going to share those with you…
2911 Kavanaugh Blvd
Little Rock AR (501) 664-6637
Dry & Dash is the first local blowout bar I tried and I loved it! The vibe is so peaceful and relaxing that I almost fell asleep after my shampoo. I believe that Dry and Dash offers full salon services as well. Dry and Dash is located in the Heights directly above E.Leigh’s Boutique.
8214 Cantrell
Little Rock AR (501) 219-1086
Studio 2121 was the very first blowout bar in the Little Rock area. I went to Studio 2121 before an Arkansas Women Bloggers event this past fall and was amazed at how long my blowout lasted after! They use Oribe products, which smell amazing, and made my blowout last a solid 5 days! I’m not even joking about y’all, it was truly amazing!
11525 Cantrell, Suite 909
Little Rock AR (501) 246-3451
Just Blow is Little Rock’s newest blowout bar and opened last fall in the Pleasant Ridge Shopping Center. Just Blow is a blowout bar in every sense of the word since they offer both blowouts and adult beverages. I tried Just Blow a few weeks ago and seriously loved it. It is gorgeous on the inside and I got compliments on my hair for three days. And can I just say that I got the most amazing scalp massage of my life? I was a puddle in my chair after. It’s that good y’all.
