Fall into some great fun this weekend in Arkansas. We have pumpkin festivals, homesteading conferences, and a shopping experience sure to tickle a junker’s heart. Enjoy some Shakespeare, a Cuban or El Salvadoran extravaganza, and everything the Ozark folk life has to offer.
The Junk Ranch – Prairie Grove
The Junk Ranch is a semiannual barn sale, featuring 100+ vendors selling anything and everything you need to decorate your home in the “Modern Farmhouse” style that is taking over the decorating magazines and HGTV programming. In other words – If you like Fixer Upper, you’ll love The Junk Ranch. There are also handmade items, outdoor décor, rusty barn-fresh metal, bits and bobs to use in your own creative endeavors, and fine antiques. Music plays all day and food and beverages are available onsite. Parking is abundant in the pastures around the barn (Yes, there’s actually a barn!) but be sure to wear shoes you don’t mind getting dirty.

Pumpkin Festival 2016 – Rover
McCool Farms will host our Fall Pumpkin Festival September 30, 2016 – October 01, 2016. There will be 90 vendors displaying their crafts, several acres of pick-your-own pumpkins, a large pick your own sunflower patch, and a petting zoo. There will be a lot of activities for the kids, and those not so little kids. Everyone is welcome, and you don’t want to miss the hayride.

23rd Annual A Taste for Business – North Little Rock

Twelfth Night – Conway

Una Noche Cubana – Jonesboro
This Cuban-themed party benefits the Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum. Ozark Folklife Festival – St. Joe
The festival will highlight and promote the unique Ozark heritage of northwest Arkansas and provide recreational and educational opportunities for visitors of all ages from both urban and rural areas. In addition, the festival will take place in a natural setting on the banks of the Buffalo River at Tyler Bend, offering opportunities for outdoor recreation such as hiking, camping, and floating. The one-day festival will highlight traditional Ozark crafts, cooking, music, dance, and pioneer life skills such as blacksmithing, pottery, basketry, and soap making.

Northwest Arkansas Hispanic Heritage Festival
