Top 7 Places to Take Your Holiday Guests Dec. 18-20

There’s a lot to celebrate in Arkansas and this is the perfect weekend to share some of our Southern hospitality and events with your out of town holiday guests. Here are seven events happening around the state this weekend.

Viewing of the Trumpeter Swans ~ Heber Springs
Magness Creek Swans

A wintering population of trumpeter swans descends on Magness Lake, located east of Heber Springs, each year. It’s a scientific mystery why more than 100 of these birds flock to Heber Springs from their Midwestern homes, but their arrival makes for an exciting birding experience. Their stay extends from late November through February. Read more about the swans here.
