It’s Fall, Y’all! This Weekend in Arkansas

M

Many people consider back-to-school to be the start of fall. According to the calendar, fall begins when the sun is positioned directly along the celestial equator creating an equal day and night. Known as the Fall Equinox, and despite the still warm (okay, HOT) temperatures, we will enter a new season this weekend. The Fall Equinox celebration at the Toltec Mounds in Scott will be a great place to celebrate both the changing of the seasons and Native American culture. Other events around the state include a horror film festival, car shows, poultry workshops, and live music. Enjoy!

A little about .

There's a lot to celebrate in Arkansas. It's unique. Southern. Delightfully eccentric. Which is why we love every nook, cranny, cave and corner. In fact, some of our favorite things can't be found anywhere else. They're only in Arkansas. So we love them even more. The attractions we visit, the food we crave, the festivals we attend, the mountains we hike, the rivers we float, the stories we tell and the company we keep – it all adds up to one incredible state. And that familiar, meandering silhouette? Looks like home to us.
