It’s May and the festivals are in full swing. Race some toads, enjoy the arts or a film. Fill up on crawfish, explore the indie arts and crafts scene, or join in the 50th year of the Great Passion Play.
To say that Eureka Springs is a colorful community is an understatement. There’s an overall creative vibe running through our historic arts village driven by more than 350 working artists in all mediums. During the month of May, we show it all off. Our 30th annual May Festival of the Arts is packed with one-of-a-kind art exhibits, demonstrations, performances, culinary arts, free music in the park, and the wildest street party thrown by artists – The White Street Walk.

BFF is an annual film festival that champions women and diverse voices across all forms of media with film screenings, industry-focused panel discussions, celebrity spotlight events, and many community events.

Festival-goers gather for food-on-a-stick, local and national entertainment, arts & crafts, activities for kids, and of course, the World-Famous Championship Toad Races. Several festival-sanctioned events sponsored by local nonprofit organizations take place throughout the weekend as well, including a 5K/10K race and the Tour de Toad bicycle race.
