Fort Smith Veterans Day Reception
All veterans and their families are invited to share stories and refreshments, view photos, uniforms and artifacts from past Veterans Day exhibits and excerpts of taped interviews with local veterans conducted by the Fort Smith Historical Society. Proceeds from this quilt show will go to missions in Arkansas, such as disaster relief, children’s home, boy’s ranch, and church planting. Group members make quilts during the year and donate them to be sold at the quilt show. Quilts available for sale this year have won blue ribbons and best of show at the St. Francis County Fair.
