Rowe’s Leather Goods and Gypsy Laundry

Founded in 1955, Rowe’s Leather Goods is a third-generation family business offering custom handmade, hand-tooled American-tanned leather goods and many different exotic skin-inlaid leather goods. Some of those include belts, wallets, wristlets, holsters, knife sheaths, duck carrying totes, guitar straps, cell phone cases, tumbler wraps, notebook and bible covers. Basically, if it can be handmade out of leather, Rowe’s Leather Goods can make it. Neat tidbit: Accessories from Rowe’s Leather Goods were purchased by HBO, which ordered quite a few things to outfit the police officers on one of their shows.

Get in touch: Rowe’s Leather Goods is located at 3218 Hwy 29 South Hope, AR or can be reached by phone at  870-777-8216. They also maintain an active presence on Facebook and offer shipping options.

Rae-Tay’s Boutique

Michelle Hunt has owned and operated Rae-Tay’s Boutique in downtown Hope for 20 years, and decided to take her passion for clothing, accessories and home goods a step further by creating her own line called “Gypsy Laundry” with her daughter Taylor Jester. Gypsy Laundry designs and creates hand-bleached and custom shirts, and they also create Gypsy Laundry pillowcases, yard flags, greeting cards, jewelry, keychains and mugs.

Get in touch: See Gypsy Laundry goods inside Rae Tay’s Boutique at 208 South Main Street in Hope, or join their regularly-updated Facebook group

In addition to the furniture she remakes, Carly has handcrafted a unique shopping experience inside of Everybody’s Antiques – a 32,000 square feet antique shop in El Dorado. “No fruit, no frills, no fuss” is the tagline for Twisted Lane Candle products which are made in Pine Bluff. Twisted Lane hand creates candles, air fresheners in a jar, firestarters, and wax sticks for wax warmers.  Their basic tenants in creating products are: no-frills items that smell good and no one else has. Stamped by K was created to offer handmade, stamped jewelry at an affordable price. Kalie Lacy started her handcrafted business a couple of years ago after shopping online for jewelry and accessories for herself. “One night I thought to myself, ‘It would be cool to have personalized jewelry that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.’ So, I started out taking custom orders through Instagram until I finally upgraded to Etsy. Coming from a small town in Southern Arkansas, I never thought I could make a cute hobby into a way of income and provide personalized items for my amazing customers, but the sky’s the limit!” Lacy said. Stamped by K offers metal rings, necklaces, keychains, bottle openers, and dog tags which are all personalized with words, sayings or initials.
