If you love pizza and salad then ZAZA is for you! I am obsessed with their House Salad (spinach, strawberries, blueberries, pecans and goat cheese) and I’m not even a fan of fruit on my salad, LOL! Their Margherita Pizza is also out of this world! ZAZA sources all of their ingredients locally and even has a Gluten-Free menu. The environment is also perfect for talking about all the juicy details of your life with your girlfriends.
Next up is Big Orange. If burgers are your thing then you are at the right place. I love the Petit Jean Bacon and Avocado Burger. Let’s be real, I love anything with avocado and bacon and this burger has it all…Petit Jean Bacon, Cheddar Cheese, Butter Leaf Lettuce, Tomato, Dill Pickle, Red Onion and Mayo. I also get the Truffle-Garlic-Herb Fries as my side and they are delicious! They come with an aioli dipping sauce and I always ask for their house special, BOB sauce. I am a huge fan of dipping sauces. YUM!
I was introduced to Local Lime through an event they catered a few years ago and it was love at first bite. I love love love their fish tacos and guacamole!! Chips and salsa are my love language and Local Lime doesn’t disappoint on that front either. Get there ASAP if you haven’t already!!
I was re-introduced to Cajun’s Wharf a few months ago at an Arkansas Women Bloggers event. I always knew Cajun’s as the home of the amazing outdoor deck and Pay-de-do but not necessarily as a restaurant, but it totally is! If you love good wine and amazing Cajun food then you have to try Cajun’s. I am obsessed with their Oysters Bienville.
After a yummy dinner in which my girlfriends and I have completely overindulged ourselves we like get out and burn off some steam. Sometimes that includes physical activity but most times it involves running our mouths and enriching our minds.
I love the downtown area of Little Rock and one of my very favorite places is the Arkansas Repertory Theater. Why go out of town when we have some of the best shows right here? I love musicals and luckily The Rep has me covered.
The Rep just finished up the musical adaptation of Elf. I heard it was really funny and I wish I had gone but December was such a busy month. Upcoming shows include The Whipping Man (Jan. 23-Feb. 8), Mary Poppins (March 6 – April 5), Project Elan (May 5 – 16), and August: Osage County (June 5 – 21). My sister and I have tickets to see Mary Poppins and I can’t wait to go!
I love a good Girl’s Night Out. How about you?
