Zombie Paintball at Paintball Arkansas

Z

Zombies were first spotted near Conway, Arkansas in late 2013 and thanks to a lot of brave men, women and children armed with paintballs, they were eradicated by mid-November.

At least that’s what we thought.

It turns out; the zombies have returned in droves (as they seem to do every October), and it is up to us…and maybe you…to rid the town of Conway of the zombies once and for all.

Thankfully, Paintball Arkansas has built a state-of-the-art Zombie Annihilation Vehicle (ZAV) equipped with mounted high-powered paintball guns so you can get up close and personal with live zombies. You get to enjoy all the fun of paintball, without the pain, and let the zombies have it!

A few weeks ago, my husband and I and a few of our friends did our part to help end the Zombie Plague. After passing through the only safe house left in the area, we boarded the ZAV, armed with paintballs. We made our way through the trails where we blasted the hordes of zombies. They were no match to the special zombie-killing fluid.

When we came to the Sturgis Mansion, I almost chickened out. I grasped the back of my husband’s shirt and let him lead me into the house that was full of scary scenes and characters. It was frightening, but I’m glad I went.

The Zombie Hunt is kid-friendly (except for the Sturgis Mansion), so it is fun for the whole family. They can easily accommodate larger groups, so it is a great event for youth groups, birthday parties and other group events.

It seems that the month of October is never long enough to squeeze in all the haunted activities around Arkansas. Thankfully for you, Paintball Arkansas’ Zombie Hunt continues through November 7th! Paintball Arkansas is open year-round and aims to help beginners experience the fun of paintball.

You can find out more about Paintball Arkansas on their website, and you can follow them on Facebook. Paintball Arkansas is located at 558 Sturgis Road in Conway.

Conway is a little bit of a drive for us, so we decided to check out a few other things while there.  We enjoyed a delicious taco dinner at Tacos4Life, had the Chocolate Mess at the Marketplace Grill and took a spin around the round-a-bout on the campus of Hendrix College. Conway is growing and full of fun things to do. Get out there and enjoy it!
