Crockpot meatballs are not a new concept to me, but I have always gone the grape jelly and BBQ sauce direction. I love it when a fellow Arkansan gives me a variation of a tried-and-true recipe that tastes just as good, if not better! Using jellied cranberry sauce is the ultimate holiday grape jelly substitute. Nothing screams holidays like cranberry sauce and these Cranberry BBQ Crockpot Meatballs that say Ho Ho Ho and Happy New Year!

This recipe calls for thawed meatballs. There is no need to thaw the meatballs in advance. Throw the frozen meatballs right in the crockpot.
Make sure and stir the Cranberry BBQ Crockpot Meatballs every hour so the meatballs do not sit and burn.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together barbecue and cranberry sauce. Set aside. Add frozen meatballs to the bottom of the slow cooker. Pour sauce over top and stir to combine. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours. Garnish with parsley and pepper.
