A new two-day music festival is coming to Fayetteville this spring, thanks to the University of Arkansas’ Headliners Concert Committee.
The yet-to-be-named festival is scheduled for April 17-18 in the Baum Stadium parking lot, the UA Traveler reports.
The festival would feature 6-8 headlining acts scheduled over the two days, and would take the place of the once-per-semester concerts typically held at Barnhill Arena. Organizers said they’d like to make the festival an annual tradition.
The Headliner Concerts Committee last month launched a survey seeking input on acts that students wanted to see perform, and ideas for a name for the event.
