With so many holiday dishes taking up the oven to bake or roast, I was delighted to find this recipe in “What’s Cookin’ at First Security” that uses the crockpot. It’s a recipe where you throw in your ingredients and leave it alone. Once the carrots are tender, you thicken the sauce and serve. That is all there is to this easy, eight-ingredient Orange Spice Glazed Carrot recipe.
Check out some other great recipes from “What’s Cookin’ at First Security” that are perfect for the holidays. These are some of my personal favorites! I love them because they aren’t complicated and are so delicious.

Using a slotted spoon, transfer carrots to a serving dish. Mix water and cornstarch in a measuring cup until smooth; add to juice in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for an additional 20 minutes. Spoon sauce over carrots. Serve and enjoy.
